The moment we’ve all been waiting for has arrived! Today, 8th August 2025, marks the grand opening of the 5th All Assam Para Sports Meet at Sarusajai Stadium, Guwahati.
Over the next three days, more than 600 para-athletes and officials from across Assam will compete in exciting events including Para Athletics, Boccia, Para Swimming, Para Badminton, Para Table Tennis, Para Chess.
This is more than a sports event — it is a celebration of ability, determination, and unity. Every race, every match, and every cheer from the stands will carry the message that sports are for everyone.
