The Paralympic Association of Assam was honored to welcome Shri Bhaskar Jyoti Manta, ACS, Director of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of Assam, at our office in Nehru Stadium today.
During his visit, Shri Manta extended his best wishes to the Assam Para Athletic Team as they embark on their journey to compete in the 23rd National Para Athletic Championships 2025. His presence and encouragement served as a great motivation for our athletes ahead of this prestigious competition.
In a remarkable gesture of support, he also distributed two wheelchairs to our wheelchair para-athletes, further reinforcing the government’s commitment to empowering para-sports and athletes in Assam.
