The Paralympic Association of Assam (PAA) successfully conducted its General Body Meeting, bringing together members, office bearers, district representatives, and stakeholders committed to the development of para sports in Assam.
The meeting served as an important platform to review the Association’s activities, discuss organizational matters, evaluate ongoing programs, and formulate strategies for the future growth of para sports in the state. Members deliberated on key issues related to athlete development, competition planning, organizational strengthening, fundraising initiatives, and the promotion of inclusive sporting opportunities for persons with disabilities.
Various proposals and recommendations were discussed to enhance the effectiveness of the Association’s activities and to ensure greater participation of para athletes at district, state, national, and international levels. The meeting also provided an opportunity for members to share their views and contribute to the planning of upcoming events and initiatives.
